Telecoms data management experts Aperio CI have added unique customer research to their CRM solutions.

This addition has created a new layer of customer understanding and significantly increased performance of their solutions.

Aperio CI notes its research affiliate Left Right Research that helps Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 clients improve sales and profits by utilizing sophisticated analytics and research to improve and measure their marketing efforts and results.

Left Right Research is based in the New York area and maintains an office in Nebraska. The focus of Left Right Research is on the MICE (Media, Internet, Communications and Entertainment) industries. The research firm surveyed about 6,000 consumers in October 2009 and again in February 2010 and the results indicate that people put greatest emphasis on TV, mobile phone, internet and religion.

Things of least interest are casual dining, amusement parks, bars and casinos. Both Aperio and Left Right Research believe that this information will give a new, clearer and crisper picture of the customer.

Duffy Mich, chief executive officer of Aperio CI said that mobile operators will benefit from commissioning MICE surveys. Because these are generic surveys, with their own customers, they will allow companies to instantly profile customers.

Mich added that by commissioning to the surveys companies will know important things such as who their heavy texters are, who their heavy voice users are, who use a little or a lot of both, who downloads apps and which apps they use frequently and simply cannot live without.

All this information is available due to a new research methodology (Quad-Q) developed by Left Right Research that gives much more insight into consumer perceptions and behavior.

This methodology allows people to speak for themselves and this allows them to gain better insights into consumer perceptions and consumer spending. Left Right Research’s largest current consumer research project involves the MICE industries (Media, Internet, Communications and Entertainment).
